Kazi Ragib Ishraq Sanim
Hi, I am Sanim, a robotics researcher. I am currently a research assistant at the Prorok Lab at the University of Cambridge, where my focus is on multi-robot system research. My primary work involves deploying learning-based control policies for multi-UAV flights. I specialize in creating robust, resilient, and scalable systems and algorithms for larger swarms and highly dynamic environments. My role also includes conducting in-field testing and deployments, drawing on my strong implementation skills and substantial experience with real robot systems.

I earned my Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in Robotics from the University of South Carolina. During my Master's, I developed an Autonomous Aerial Drone System for Water Fluorescence Mapping and Targeted Sampling. I completed my Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET). My undergraduate thesis was a study on Elevator Health Monitoring Using an Inertial Measurement Unit.
My research interests include but are not limited to, multi-robot systems, nonlinear and learning-based control of robots, optimal state and pose estimation, sensor fusion, localization and mapping, novel robot design, and dynamic modelling.

My hobbies are travelling, photography, and drawing manga. During my leisure, I like to revive broken headphones and do my part to reduce electronic waste. I am trying to transition towards sustainable lifestyle and reduce my plastic footprint. My favourite sports is Football/Soccer. Feel free to explore more about me on the website!
